Job summary

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office Correction Division is seeking a qualified professional to apply Strategic Inmate Management (SIM) and Inmate Behavior Management to support rehabilitation and successful reintegration of incarcerated individuals. You will assess needs, plan services, and coordinate with partners to ensure effective delivery.

Responsibilities include counseling on adjustment and employment issues, preparing social histories, and facilitating social programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Social work, sociology, criminology, or psychology or related field preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain notary certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to determine eligibility for services and devise treatment plans.
• Facilitate social and rehabilitative programs for incarcerated individuals.
• Prepare social histories and all paperwork required relative to services provided.
• Counsel incarcerated individuals concerning adjustment, character, and employment problems.
• Maintain contact with community and governmental agencies to coordinate services and reintegration.
• Attend trainings to remain current on evidence-based practices in reentry and rehabilitation.
• Other duties as assigned.
