GLC On-The-Go, Inc. seeks a local contract Radiology Technician for the Federal Correctional Institution Herlong in California. The role involves 40 hours per week over 25 weeks, with days shifts, starting 09/23/2026.

The position requires state licensure, ARRT certification, and CPR, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. Responsibilities include performing routine radiographic exams, selecting exposure factors, explaining procedures, maintaining records, and ensuring QA on all

Qualifications

• Must have active state radiology license.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• CPR certification (American Red Cross or AHA) required.
• At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiologic exams (chest, bone, skull, spine, portable X‑rays).
• Set exposure factors and position patients for quality images.
• Explain procedures and support patients during exams.
• Identify abnormalities and notify physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient records and schedule exams.
• Ensure equipment calibration, maintenance, and QA.
• Respond to emergencies during procedures.
• Follow correctional safety protocols with medical staff.
