Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a licensed Psychologist for Hartsville, TN in a correctional healthcare setting. This full-time, in-person role includes a travel package with hourly pay, lodging and meal stipends, and ongoing benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted TN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Must have two (2) years of clinical experience, which includes one year in a comparable position.
• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Copy of current PSV from the licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• A valid driver's license.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews.
• Confer with other clinical staff to ensure integrated, quality patient care.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans.
• Make rounds to assess inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
• Apply counseling techniques suitable for inmates and manage crises with appropriate interventions.
• Consult with psychiatry, nursing, and security to understand escalations in behavior and mental health changes.
