Job summary

HAN Staff seeks a Psychologist in Brentwood, TN to provide expert mental health services within a correctional setting. The clinician will conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.

Requirements include a Doctoral degree in Psychology and an unrestricted license to practice in the practice state; two years of clinical experience preferred. Full-time position with shift flexibility and travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records review and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, mental health staff, nurses, physicians, social workers, and others to inform patient care and treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Make rounds to assess inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions as needed.
