CoreCivic is seeking a Correctional Psychologist in Coronado, California. The role focuses on delivering high-quality therapeutic care within an institutional setting, conducting screenings, assessments, and individualized treatment plans for inmates.

Candidates must hold a Doctoral degree in Psychology, be licensed, and have two years of clinical experience including at least one year in a similar position. A valid driver's license is required and relocation assistance is available.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs.
• Must have two years clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age requirement: at least 21 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Conduits psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Collaborates with psychiatry, mental health, nursing, education, chaplain, and security staff to gather information for treatment planning.
• Develops, implements, and modifies individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning.
• Conducts regular rounds in housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and treatment needs.
• Provides mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions.
• Consults with multi-disciplinary teams to address escalation of behavioral and mental health issues.
