Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join ASPC Tucson in Tucson, AZ. The role offers hourly pay between $82.00 and $89.00, with full-time or part-time options, under supervision of a psychiatrist and in collaboration with correctional staff.

You will conduct mental health assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for residents in a secure setting. Strong communication and diverse-patient interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted NP license with Psychiatric certification in Arizona.
• OR a PA with at least 1 year of psychiatric experience.
• DEA registration and ability to obtain BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to interact with diverse patient populations and correctional staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, and progress notes.
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies and ensure safety protocols.
• Collaborate with correctional staff and multidisciplinary teams on care plans.
