CFG Health Systems is seeking a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and patient education for inmates at Cumberland County DOC in Bridgeton, NJ. The role supports community standards of care and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and custody staff.

The ideal candidate holds a PMHNP certification, NJ NP license, and DEA registration, with experience in correctional or behavioral health settings. 12 hours/week.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in nursing with a psychiatric/mental health focus.
• Current NP license in NJ and PMHNP certification.
• Prescriptive authority with DEA registration.
• Experience in correctional or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Meet credentialing, background, and security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and documents patient evaluations, including history and physical exams.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Writes orders for medications and treatments per licensure.
• May perform invasive procedures as necessary.
• Dictates discharge summaries and transfer orders.
• Maintains and follows patient care protocols.
• Educates patients on their medical care with the health team.
