Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leader in correctional healthcare, is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to serve primarily at our Lancaster, MA site with opportunities at other MA locations. The PT will evaluate and treat incarcerated patients, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, utilizing exercises and modalities, and traveling to multiple facilities as needed.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Willingness to travel to multiple facilities within MA.

Responsibilities

Work within a correctional facility with travel to multiple facilities.
Document encounters in patient medical records using SOAP format.
Develop and execute treatment plans based on clinical judgment.
Provide treatment using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional training, and modalities.
Attend medical staff meetings and participate in quality reviews.
Notify Site Medical Director of schedule changes and assist in coverage planning.
