Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Be 21 years of age or older
• United States citizen
• Meet DPSST Physical Standards
• Reading comprehension, report writing, and retention abilities
• Complete background investigation as per OAR 259-008-0015

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and safety within the facility
• Enforce rules and regulations and monitor resident activities
• Conduct cell checks/searches for contraband
• Assist in handling incidents and disputes
• Participate in training and professional development during probation
