Management & Training Corporation is hiring for a full-time role at North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio. The position offers a 12-hour shift (nights or days) with a bi-weekly 4 on/4 off/3 on/3 off schedule and overtime opportunities.

Compensation is $23.09/hr plus a $1.00/hr shift differential, with comprehensive health benefits and a 401(k) plan. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with acceptable driving record; waiver if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security: search for contraband, monitor areas, and help keep the facility secure.
• Supervise daily routines: count, feed, and supervise inmates in housing, work, and other areas.
• Observe and respond: provide custody and security through observation and appropriate communication and discipline.
• Document accurately: prepare and maintain required records, forms, and reports.
• Disseminate information: read and apply information found in inmate records and share with other personnel.
• Support facility operations: assist in commissary, property, transportation, recreation, mail room, laundry, visitation, etc.
