Qualifications

• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school.
• Experience equivalent to one year of full-time adult correctional security work or related work with ACA accreditation.
• Must be willing to qualify with, carry, and use assigned weapons.
• Must meet criminal history, drug screening, and ADA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises inmate activities in housing units, dining areas, recreation and work areas.
• Inspects grounds for contraband and security risks.
• Checks in new inmates and assigns accommodations and clothing.
• Maintains daily logs, disciplinary reports, and inmate payroll records.
