Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is hiring for a full-time role at the North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio. The position offers 12-hour shifts (days or nights) with a bi-weekly 4-on/4-off schedule and overtime opportunities.

In this role, you will help maintain safety and security, supervise inmate routines, and support facility operations. Eligible employees receive medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k), life insurance, disability protection, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security: Search for contraband, monitor assigned areas, and help keep the facility secure.
• Supervise daily routines: Count, feed, and supervise inmates in housing, work, and other assigned areas.
• Observe and respond: Provide custody and security through ongoing observation and appropriate communication and discipline.
• Document accurately: Prepare and maintain required records, forms, and reports.
• Disseminate information: Read, review and properly apply information found in inmate records. Provide appropriate information to other personnel.
• Support facility operations: Assist in areas such as commissary, property, transportation, recreation, mail room, laundry, visitation, booking, main control, housing, segregation, intake, administration, or food services as assigned.
