Job summary

NaphCare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in Reno, NV to join our team caring for individuals in a correctional facility. You will conduct health screenings, perform assessments, administer medications, and respond to emergencies in a controlled environment alongside correctional officers and healthcare staff.

Requirements include an active NV RN license and BLS CPR certification. Excellent communication, teamwork, and adherence to security protocols are essential. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in NV.
• Active BLS CPR Certification (AHA).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial health screenings and physical assessments of detainees.
• Monitor and document patient health, vitals and medical histories.
• Provide direct patient care, triage, assess needs and coordinate services.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions (asthma, hypertension, diabetes).
• Respond to medical emergencies and transport patients as needed.
