Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment invites a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care for incarcerated patients in a structured clinical setting.

You will manage acute and chronic conditions, perform sick-call evaluations, and collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Travel stipends are provided for providers traveling 50+ miles from home.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher is required.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• FNP/AGNP/NP certifications are accepted.
• ARC BLS, AHA BLS, or AHA ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostics.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide sick-call coverage and same-day evaluations.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Educate patients on medications, disease management, and prevention.
• Document thoroughly in NextGen EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
