Qualifications

• Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients.
• This position requires active Nurse Aide registration and compliance with PA regulatory requirements.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Background check per CJIS requirements and clearance rules are applicable.

Responsibilities

• Health Monitoring: Check and record vital signs, collect specimens, and document health patterns.
• Daily Care: Assist inmates with hygiene, safe movement, bed care, and comfort needs.
• Meal Support: Prepare food trays, assist with feeding, encourage intake, and document eating habits.
• Safety Practices: Follow infection control rules, maintain clean areas, and report hazards to supervisors.
• Equipment Care: Clean supplies, track inventory, and maintain stock for daily operations.
