Qualifications

• Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.

Responsibilities

• Health Monitoring: check and record vital signs, collect specimens, and document health patterns.
• Daily Care: assist inmates with hygiene, safe movement, bed care, and comfort needs.
• Meal Support: prepare food trays, assist with feeding, document eating habits.
• Safety Practices: follow infection control rules, maintain clean areas, report hazards.
• Equipment Care: clean supplies, track inventory, and maintain stock for daily operations.
• Record Keeping: file information, share updates with staff, and prepare reports.
