Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner at Worcester County Detention in Snow Hill, MD. The NP provides ambulatory care to inmate patients and collaborates with physicians, mental health professionals, and security staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, prescribing within state regulations, maintaining documentation, and adhering to NCCHC, ACA, and PBNDS standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• Current DEA, CDS, and DEA-X licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document medical evaluations in accordance with NCCHC, NJ 10-A, ACA, and PBNDS standards.
• Assess mental and physical health status based on presenting symptoms and complaints.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address patient needs, enhance strengths, involve patients in planning, and include relapse prevention strategies.
• Prescribe medications within state regulations and CFG formulas.
• Monitor and manage patient medications and adherence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans; document histories, assessments, discharge summaries, and transfer orders accurately.
