CoreCivic is seeking a Correctional Mental Health professional for a role in Vance, Mississippi. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will plan and provide non-medical clinical mental health services within the facility, handling screenings, assessments, and ongoing treatment for inmates.

The position requires a Master's degree in a related field, at least five years of clinical experience (two in a similar role), and appropriate state licensing (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related clinical area.
• Five years of clinical experience including two years in a comparable position.
• Must possess appropriate certification or licensing (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• Minimum age 21 years.

Responsabilités

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and interviews.
• Develop, implement and modify individual treatment plans.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials at all times.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions.
