University of California- Davis Health seeks a Social Worker I to plan and conduct psychoeducational, social, cultural, or arts-based activities within the ACMH program. The role includes clinical social work evaluations, counseling, medication side-effect monitoring under a psychiatrist, and intensive case management.

Supervision is provided to ensure compliance with professional standards and policies. The position involves a complex caseload, crisis intervention, and collaboration with jail

Qualificações

• Associate Social Worker License issued within 90 days of hire.
• Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work.
• Experience in a social service or healthcare setting (case management or social worker).
• Knowledge of individual, child, and family development, human behavior and communication.
• Knowledge and skills in individual, group, and family therapy.
• Basic understanding of community resources.
• Demonstrated awareness of cultural and socioeconomic diversity.
• Knowledge of reporting requirements and confidentiality regulations (Tarasoff, etc.).
• Basic understanding of computer MS functionality.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct a broad range of psychoeducational, social, cultural, and arts-based activities to support diagnosis, planning and treatment.
• Provide clinical social work evaluations, counseling, and case management under supervision.
• Maintain ongoing caseload, documentation, triage, consultation and referral; participate in training and professional development.
