Job summary

State of Colorado is seeking qualified mental health professionals to provide comprehensive services to inmates at Buena Vista Correctional Complex. The role involves evaluations, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and 24-hour on-call duties.

Must hold Colorado licensure or be a candidate in LSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMFTC, or ADDC, with experience in clinical direction and documentation. Residency is required for Colorado-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Professional mental health services to inmates including evaluations, assessments, and clinical interventions.
• Group, brief, and individual therapy, crisis intervention, and 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Accurate information system mental health needs levels and documentation of inmate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to staff in mental health care.
• Ensure continuity of care and make referrals as needed.
• Monitor treatment and document in records in a timely manner.
