Qualifications

• Must have a master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field.
• Current Colorado license or eligibility for professional licensure in one of the specified areas.
• Previous experience in a correctional/secure setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional mental health services to inmates, including evaluations and clinical interventions.
• Maintain accurate information system records for mental health needs and treatment codes.
• Deliver group, brief, and individual therapy and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate transfers and referrals to receiving units or external facilities.
• Provide clinical direction to non-clinical staff on mental health care plans.
• Ensure continuity of care through proper documentation and communication.
• Monitor treatment progress and address inmate concerns with counseling.
• Uphold safety and security standards within the clinical and correctional environment.
