Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) for Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, MO. The role requires handling medications under nursing supervision and maintaining certifications and training as required by MO DHSS/DMH, with background checks as part of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• L1MA preferred with Level 1 Medication Aide certification and insulin certification from MO DHSS/DMH.
• CMT must have current active status of CMT, CNA and insulin certification on MO registry.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness and side effects.
• Maintains required continuing education (min 4 hours every 2 years) and TB/CPR/AED docs.
• Pass background and obtain agency security clearance if applicable.
