Position Details

• Location: Richland County Jail
• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Seniority Level: Entry level

Responsibilities

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress, and chart results.
2. Establish nursing plans and work within the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, under the supervision of physicians or providers.
3. Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations.
4. Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking.
5. Follow through with established treatment plans.
