Correctional LPN Nurse Days at Southern Health Partners Summary:

As a Correctional LPN Nurse, you will deliver patient care and evaluate the symptoms and progress of patients within a correctional facility environment. You will be responsible for administering prescribed medications, following treatment plans, and performing emergency interventions while adhering to nursing standards and correctional regulations. Location: Bedford County Jail

Open Position: LPN Nurse

Schedule: 12hr Day Shift with Alternating Weekends

Sign-On and Retention Bonus

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
2. Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
3. Follow through with established treatment plans
4. Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
