Job summary

This full-time evening shift role requires working under an RN and handling patient assessments, records, and care plans. You will join a correctional health team with on-site orientation, opportunities to advance skills in EMR documentation, medication administration, and interprofessional collaboration, with a $10,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice nursing in the state where the facility is located.
• Ability to multi-task and perform patient assessments under supervision.
• Experience in correctional health care delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and document in EMR.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances, narcotics and sharps.
• Conduct inmate/patient sick calls and participate in the plan of care.
• Record, retrieve and file medical information in inmate/patient records.
