Job summary

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the Belknap County Department of Corrections in Laconia, NH. You will provide comprehensive nursing care under supervision of an RN and support inmates with medical needs throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

Must be licensed to practice nursing in the state where the facility is located.
Experience in correctional health care is a plus.
Ability to multi-task and function under supervision.
Strong patient assessment skills.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care and ensure proper flow of information to appropriate personnel.
Maintain and update electronic medical records securely.
Record, monitor, and manage controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps per laws.
Conduct inmate/patient sick calls and provide treatment per defined protocol and supervision by RN.
