Job summary

Turn Key Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Canadian County Jail in El Reno, OK. This full-time, 12-hour day shift role offers rotating weekends and the opportunity to deliver hands-on nursing care in a correctional setting.

You will administer medications, assess and monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with RNs, providers, and the healthcare team within a structured and secure environment.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation.
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care based on individual patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Respond to acute healthcare needs.
• Assist with ongoing management of chronic conditions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate provider.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
