Job summary

Turn Key Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Canadian County Jail in El Reno, OK. This full-time, 12-hour day shift role offers rotating weekends and the opportunity to deliver hands-on nursing care in a correctional setting.

You will administer medications, assess and monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with RNs, providers, and the healthcare team within a structured and secure environment.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation.
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care based on individual patient needs.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with TK Health Clinics, you'll provide essential nursing care to patients within the Canadian County Jail.

• Providing direct nursing care based on individual patient needs
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Responding to acute healthcare needs
• Assisting with ongoing management of chronic conditions
• Documenting patient care accurately and timely
• Communicating changes in patient condition to the appropriate provider
• Collaborating with RNs, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
• Following established nursing standards, policies, and procedures

You’ll work within the scope of practical nursing under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid, unrestricted LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a healthcare team
• Strong communication and patient‑care skills

Correctional healthcare experience is not required. If you have the clinical skills and are interested in trying something different.
