The Librarian (CF) will oversee library operations, maintain order, supervise inmates, and ensure security while supporting education and rehabilitative programs within a safe, humane environment at Wasco, CA.

Responsibilities

• selecting, cataloging, loaning, or the reference use of books and other library materials
• heads up a smaller correctional facility library
• maintain order and supervise the conduct of persons committed to the Department of Corrections and the Youth Authority
• inspect premises and search inmates or wards for contraband
