Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates, train staff, and coordinate food service activities in a correctional setting. You will ensure sanitation, safety, and adherence to all policies while managing daily meal production and logistics.

Responsibilities include supervising food prep, ensuring portions and dietary needs, reviewing logs, and enforcing security procedures. Candidates should have prior supervisory experience and a food safety mindset to support

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates in a correctional setting.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and review logs to ensure Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely meal service and compliance with guidelines.
• Assist in preparation and serving of meals.
• Distribute recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure correct portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Follow security policies; keep storage areas locked.
• Return and secure all kitchen tools and keys.
• Set work and sanitation schedules for cooks and inmates.
• Assist in inventory, proper receiving, and storage of food.
• Engage in 5 P's: Participation, Pulls, Production, Portion Control, Postproduction.
