Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time work experience in mass food production in a institutional setting.
• A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience, where 30 semester hours equals one year of experience.
• Current experience in state government including Cook 1/2 or Baker roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train incarcerated individuals in Food Service operations.
• Manage ingredient procurement, meal prep, serving, and delivery with FIFO practices.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with local/state food codes and safety standards.
• Document temperatures, temperatures of food and equipment, and keep accurate records.
• Complete reports and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
