Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service worker to join its correctional team at Lyon County Jail in Yerington, NV. In this role you will prepare, serve and distribute meals and may work in the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.

The position is full-time onsite with benefits including Medical, Vision, and 401k. Prior food service experience is a plus, and you will interact daily with inmates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong interpersonal and customer skills.
• Have excellent attention to details and service knowledge.
• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Nice-to-haves: Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, serving and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
