The role requires a strong background in healthcare administration within corrections, plus the ability to travel about 10% and supervise a team of healthcare professionals to meet contractual and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Public Administration required.
• Strong health care administrator background preferred in corrections.
• Willing to travel ~10% of the time.
• Three years of administrative healthcare experience required.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Data analytics skills to generate and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the administrative function of a correctional facility, including staff oversight.
• Supervise facility employees, hiring decisions, performance appraisals, and scheduling needs.
• Implement administrative policies and ensure contract and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in designing organizational structure and recruiting professional staff.
• Develop and manage the facility’s annual budgets and analyze costs.
• Represent the facility on internal and external committees and meetings.
• Oversee external contracts for reimbursement and contract adherence.
