Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) at the Bay Correctional Facility in Panama City, FL, seeks a nursing executive to oversee medical, dental and mental health programs. You will report to the warden and supervise clinical leadership while ensuring ACA and FDOC compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed registered nurse in Florida.
• Minimum five years professional nursing experience with one year supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and health services activities of the department.
• Work with nursing supervisor in recruiting, orienting, supervising and evaluating the performance of all healthcare staff.
• Develop departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with facility objectives.
• Promote and ensure OSHA compliance and safety practices.
