Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver and document nursing care within correctional facilities. You will coordinate orders, administer prescribed treatments, and provide patient education on discharge planning.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and strong documentation skills to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulations. You may cover shifts at multiple facilities as needed, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of service is required.
• BLS certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills required.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to inmates.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders and administer meds per orders.
• Record vital signs and other measurements accurately on site.
• Provide patient education on facility policies and discharge planning.
• Maintain HIPAA practices and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment.
