Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Columbia, SC to provide direct patient care in a correctional healthcare setting. Local pay is $40.00/hour (W2); travel pay includes hourly, lodging stipend, and meal/incidentals components, with total compensation around the stated package.

Shift details include 6am–7pm day shifts with the start date on 09/28/2026. Requires SC LPN license, 1+ year recent LPN experience, PSV, and current certifications (BLS, TB, immunizations).

Qualifications

• Current, valid South Carolina LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1+ year experience as an LPN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and care plans.
• Document care in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies and infection control standards.
