Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in institutional food preparation and food services, or management of a commercial food service operation, or as a Correctional Officer.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Certification or documentation per NCOSHR guidelines may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offenders in food preparation, serving, and cleanup per menus and schedules.
• Monitor sanitation, safety, and security in food service areas.
• Maintain instrument and offender movement control for security.
