Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service director for the Roswell Correctional Facility in Roswell, NM. You will lead the food service department, hire and train staff, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards to deliver reliable meals for inmates.

The role reports within the Elior North America network and requires strong communication with hourly staff and executives. Prior experience in industrial cooking and budgeting is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure that staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budgeting for the department and managing procurement to meet targets.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service matters.
