Job summary

Wellpath is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician for part-time night shifts to provide urgent medical care to inmate patients within correctional facilities. You will perform initial medical assessments, respond to emergencies, and document patient information with HIPAA-compliant care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Requires EMT or Paramedic course completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response and basic life support to inmate patients in the facility.
• Assess and document medical history and treatment of inmate patients and administer prescribed treatments.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and sterilized; assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; be aware of emergency procedures.
