Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch seeks a licensed dentist to provide direct dental care to the offender population within correctional facilities. You will work under the supervision of the Cluster Dental Director with some independence and may serve more than one facility.

Required are Texas licensure and current registration, DEA certificate, and BLS-HP. Prior correctional or institutional experience is a plus. The role is based on-site at UTMB Health facilities in Texas.

Qualifications

• Texas licensure required.
• Active Texas dentistry license with current registration.
• DEA registration certificate required.
• BLS-HP current.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct general dental care for offenders.
• Works under supervision with latitude for independent judgement.
• May service multiple facilities as needed.
