Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Dentist to provide general dentistry for inmate patients within a correctional facility. The per diem role emphasizes compliance with clinical guidelines and contractual obligations while delivering high-quality care.

The position requires US licensure, an accredited dental degree, and active CPR/DEA credentials. You will collaborate with the Health Services team, maintain records, and support safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school with US residency.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the facility's state.
• Valid CPR certification and DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental assessments for inmate patients per NCCHC, ACA, and PBNDS.
• Diagnose dental conditions, plan treatment, and educate patients.
• Interpret radiographs and provide emergency dental care as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of care and logs per policy.
• Prescribe medications under CFG formulary guidelines in collaboration with medical staff.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
• Engage with the Health Services team and participate in quality improvement.
