Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Dentist to join the team at Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontic treatments for incarcerated patients in a secure facility. Qualifications include a DDS or DMD from an accredited program, Missouri license with DEA and BNDD, and ability to pass background checks and drug

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program.
• Missouri dental license, DEA and BNDD are required.
• Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screening and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments and endodontic treatments.
• Deliver care in a correctional setting and maintain high standards of patient safety and ethics.
