Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Dentist to join the team at Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, extractions, restorations, prosthetics, prophylaxis, fluoride, and endodontic treatments for incarcerated patients in a secure facility. Qualifications include a DDS or DMD from an accredited program, Missouri license with DEA and BNDD, and ability to pass background checks and drug

• Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screening and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Dentist to join our team at Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in, St. Joseph, Missouri.

The Dentist provides comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients including routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and endodontic treatments.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program
• Experience in providing comprehensive dental services in a correctional, community health, or indigent environment preferred
• Valid Missouri dental license, DEA and BNDD
• Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screening and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

30 hours per week.

Weekday schedule with three ten-hour shifts per week.
