Job summary

South Carolina DDSN is seeking a qualified dentist to provide direct dental care to the inmate population under the supervision of the Director of Dentistry. The role includes maintaining dental health services at the assigned clinic and supervising dental assistant personnel.

You will also manage clinic operations to ensure compliance with standards and, as directed, provide care at other institutions. Requirements include graduation from an accredited dental school, SC licensure with DEA

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited dental school.
• Licensure to practice dentistry in South Carolina, current federal and state DEA.
• Three years of dental experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct dental care to inmate population.
• Maintain dental health and delivery services at the assigned clinic for the inmate population.
• Supervise assigned dental assistant personnel.
• Manage operations at the assigned dental clinic to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide dental care at other institutions as directed by the Director of Dentistry.
