Job summary

A state corrections agency is seeking dedicated candidates for the role of Correctional Corporal in Salem, Oregon. This position requires current ODOC employees with strong leadership skills to supervise and ensure safety for adults in custody. As part of a team, you will maintain control and enforce institutional rules while also having opportunities for mentorship. Qualifications

• Must be a current ODOC Correctional Corporal employee.
• Must be currently DPSST certified to request a lateral transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide custody, control, and daily care of adults in custody.
• Supervise AICs in various areas, including housing units and control points.
• Train and mentor staff.
