Job summary

The State of Colorado is seeking a TEMPORARY Certified Nurse Aide to join the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center in Denver, CO. In this clinical role, you will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, transfer patients, and support nursing staff within a correctional healthcare setting.

Applicants must have one year CNA experience and hold an active CO CNA license, with QMAP certification/registration. Substitutions include LPN licensure.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
• Active Nurse Aide Certification (CNA) from Colorado required.
• QMAP Certification from an approved entity and QMAP registration required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding).
• Obtain and record vital signs for nurse review.
• Assist with transfers, turning, and positioning in bed.
• Report changes in patient condition to shift nurse.
• Assist with medication delivery and inventory in a clinical setting.
