Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years religious or related experience required.
• Current ecclesiastical endorsement by denomination or ordination required; completion of clinical pastoral education.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with acceptable driving record, unless waived.
• Must complete annual in-service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and implement all religious programs of the facility.
• Serve as the point of contact for outside religious activities requesting admittance to the facility.
• Interact with inmates to provide moral and religious instruction.
• Promote positive social skills through modeling behavior and intervening when needed.
• Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.
