Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for Level I.
• Two years of correctional records management or social casework for Level II; substitution with master's possible.
• Three years of correctional records management or social casework for Level III; substitutions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Determine offender's security risks and programmatic needs; prepare case history reports.
• Review offender records to adjust classifications and assignments; serve on caseload.
• Advise offenders on personal problems, resources, vocational skills and education.
• Deliver programs to assist re-entry into the community after release.
• Assist with or prepare parole summaries or pre-sentence investigations.
• Develop transition plans and coordinate with community partners and services.
