Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six years of full-time or equivalent experience as a correctional/officer or in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and reviews the work of subordinates.
• Enforces institutional rules and state law regulations for inmate control and safety.
• Coordinates required training, performance evaluations, and written evaluations.
• Prepares periodic reports to facility authorities with progress, problems, and action recommendations.
