Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies in Michigan is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to oversee the development, implementation, and supervision of the Behavioral Health delivery system at the Calhoun County Jail in Battle Creek.

You will coordinate with the Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director and Psychiatrist to ensure NCCHC/ACA standards are met, supervise staff, and manage program quality and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s level Social Worker or Counselor with independent license.
• Full licensure to practice Social Work in Michigan.
• Background check completed satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates a Behavioral Health delivery system meeting NCCHC/ACA standards.
• Supervises Behavioral Health Services staff and administers programs.
• Collaborates with Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director and Psychiatrist.
• Ensures timely, professional clinical services and quality improvement.

Education

Master's level Social Worker or Counselor with Independent license

Fully licensed to practice Social Work in Michigan
